Teen Fitness

Fact: Only 1 in 4 teens get adequate daily exercise. Another fact? Once they hit puberty, 1 in 2 girls will quit sports due to feelings of discouragement, fatigue, and low self-confidence. Unfortunately, this means most teenage girls are at risk for poor physical and mental health due to lack of exercise. That’s why it’s soooo essential for teenage girls to experience the physical and mental benefits — and FUN — of a regular healthy, active lifestyle.

WHY TEENS?

Helping teenage girls gain more confidence is one of my biggest passions in life. From writing helpful articles for such teen friendly publications as I Am That Girl, HelloGiggles and Awesomeness TV to volunteering with Girls Inc., supporting and encouraging young girls continues to be an important part of my life because I know what it’s like to struggle with loving myself and loving my body as a teen.

When I was 14 years old, I looked in the mirror and hated what I saw. Puberty had caused me to gain 15 pounds — seemingly — overnight.  I struggled with major body issues and low self-esteem as I constantly compared myself to my peers and stick thin celebrities. Determined to boost both my confidence and my fitness levels in a healthy way, my parents encouraged me to join a local kickboxing gym. Soon thereafter, I also began running and strength training, and I never looked back. Through exercise, I found not only newfound confidence, but a NEW ME. I loved working out; I loved how it made me feel, and I loved how it made my body feel. Mostly, I loved ME. 

Mastering fitness at an early age has made it easier for me to not only continue with my healthy lifestyle as an adult, but it’s also pushed me to confidently accomplish my dreams — which is something I wish for every teenage girl.

My teenage programs are born out of my goal to inspire and motivate young women towards a more healthy and active lifestyle so they have the confidence and the skills to pursue everything and anything!

Healthy Happy Body in 4 Weeks for Teens (13 – 17 years) – In Home Fitness & Nutrition Program 

This program is the total package! Your teen will receive healthy eating counselling in addition to in-home* personal training sessions to improve her fitness, health and confidence!

What’s included: 

  • FREE 30 minute consultation in-home or via phone
  • FREE Fitness test/trial session
  • Goal setting session, including discussion of the importance of fitness & nutrition
  • A personalized fitness schedule created by me for your teen’s goals and needs
  • 8 in-home personalized personal training sessions (2x a week) — during sunny days, we will go to a local park for fun outdoor drills!
  • A personalized easy-to-follow cardio plan to do at home or at the gym
  • A healthy eating meal plan, including weekly goals + recipes, tailored to your teen that’s easy to follow at home and at school
  • Weekly check-ins, food assessments, and tons of motivation and tips!

First Month: $300 // Continuing Months: $200

Healthy Happy Body in 4 Weeks for Teens – The BFF (Best Friends in Fitness) In Home Fitness Package 

Sometimes 2 is better than 1. I offer personal training sessions for your teen + her BFF within the comforts of home*. This package is both suitable for 2 teens who would like to work out together, or for a mother/daughter dynamic duo.

What’s included: 

  • FREE 30 minute consultation in-home or via phone
  • Goal setting session + Fitness test, including discussion of the importance of fitness & nutrition
  • A personalized FUN fitness schedule created by me for both your goals and needs
  • 8 in-home personalized personal training sessions (2x a week) — during sunny days, we will go to a local park for fun outdoor drills! Plus there will be TONS of buddy exercises to do together
  • A personalized easy-to-follow cardio plan to do at home or at the gym either together or separately
  • Weekly check-ins + motivation up the wazoo

First Month: $400 (includes both teens!) // Continuing Months: $300
